At WSC we are
enjoying servicing a growing number of private owners choosing to
fly with us. This increased demand is creating a greater
challenge for our mountain tow operations.
To address this we are asking all pilots to contact WSC either
by email info@williamssoaring.com,
telephone (530) 473-5600, or Williams Today posting to let us know
that they will want a tow. We
would appreciate as much notice as possible but letting us know
as you leave the house will be helpful in planning our tow pilot
staffing.
DOUBLE
TOWS: On mountain
days, we have found great benefit in double tows.

Double tows greatly reduce
time waiting for a tow.
·
Double tows allow two
pilots to explore lift early in the day, increasing the chance of
staying up.
·
Double tows are directly
responsible for our ability to hold our aero tow rates.
Pilots are encouraged
to participate in the double tow program.
Double tows will be given priority launch positions. Pilots requesting double tows are required
to review and follow WSC double tow procedures. This information can be found on the WSC Pilot
